The Objectives of the Global School of Counselling are



  • To provide quality education and training in Counselling Psychology for Christians at the post-graduate level.
  • To provide the necessary resources such as qualified and competent faculty, well-resourced library, in order to equip and enable professional counsellors
  • To provide the environment conducive to research in the area of Counselling Psychology.
  • To provide opportunities and facilities for professional counselling practice.
  • To provide trained and committed professionals to serve the needs of individuals, couples, families, educational and other institutions.
  • To encourage social, cultural and literary activities among students, faculty and employees to bring awareness of counselling needs, and to offer adequate training to equip grass root level workers.
  • To provide counselling services for individuals and families in the local context and thereby aid in the transformation of communities.




General Requirements

Applicants for the M.Sc. and Post Graduate Diploma should:

  • be at least 21 years of age at the time of application
  • hold a recognised (theological or secular) bachelors degree
  • have reasonable proficiency in English language.
Applicants for the Diploma program should:
  • be at least 18 years of age at the time of application
  • have successfully completed 12th/PUC/+2
  • have reasonable proficiency in English language

Degrees Offered

M.Sc in Counselling Psychology
This is a two year (four semester) program, designed for graduates of recognised universities (Theological graduates of accredited seminaries/colleges may also apply) who would like to equip themselves as Care Givers across a diverse range of emotional and mental health needs.

Post Graduate Diploma in Counselling Psychology
This is a one year (two semester) diploma program, designed for graduates of recognized universities (Theological graduates of accredited seminaries/colleges may also apply) who would like to equip themselves as Care Givers across a diverse range of emotional and mental health needs.

Diploma in Counselling
This is a one year (two semester) diploma program, to equip persons as Care Givers with specialised needs across a diverse range of emotional and societal challenges.
