Objectives

  • To provide quality education and training in psychological counselling for Christians at the post-graduate level.
  • To provide the necessary resources such as qualified and competent faculty, well-resourced library, etc.
  • To provide the environment conducive to research in the area of psychological counselling.
  • To provide opportunities and facilities for counselling practice.
  • To provide trained and committed professionals to serve the needs of individuals, couples, families, educational and other institutions.
  • To encourage social, cultural and literary activities among students, faculty and employees.
  • To provide counselling services for individuals and families in the local context and thereby aid in the transformation of communities. 




General Requirements

Applicants for the M.Sc. and Post Graduate Diploma should:

  • be at least 21 years old at the time of application
  • hold a recognized bachelors degree (theological or secular)
  • have a reasonable proficiency in English language.

Degrees Offered

M.Sc in Counselling Psychology
This is a two year (four semester) program, designed for graduates of recognized universities (Theological graduates of accredited seminaries/colleges may also apply) who would like to equip themselves as Care Givers across a diverse range of emotional and mental health needs.

Post Graduate Diploma in Counselling Psychology
This is a one year (two semester) diploma program, designed for graduates of recognized universities (Theological graduates of accredited seminaries/colleges may also apply) who would like to equip themselves as Care Givers across a diverse range of emotional and mental health needs.
